Historic Surf Film Footage to be shown
at The Bowgie Inn Crantock
Famous Surfer and Film maker Rod Sumpter will be presenting an Evening of Surf Film from the 1960's
Including the Strory of Britains First Lady Stand-up Surfer Gwyn Haslock.
There will also be footage of the Cribbar Story, first ridden in 1965.
The Bowgie at Crantock have kindly offered the use of
The Ocean Bar to enable Rod to host this
Special Evening.
Bowgie Inn is home of the famous Tom Blake Surfboard and a collection of historic Surf Photography. Both Bars have stunning views of Crantock Beach.
Rod will be charging £5 on the door.
The Bowgie team welcome you to their
Friendly Pub at Crantock
which offers Bar Meals and Homemade Specials
and full selection of drinks including
Cornish Ales.
There will be a questions and answers after the
60 minute film.
