Remembrance Day

Today we wear poppies in honour of the brave men and women who lost their lives during wartime.

During the Summer months as we look out over the red poppies that dance in the breeze on the headland so close to us here at The Bowgie Inn Crantock we can’t help but think of the soldiers who paid the ultimate price.

Today we proudly wear our poppies as an emblem of remembrance and a sign of respect.

We are thankful for what they did for us everyday, but today at 11am we will all unite to reflect on all the beautiful souls that were taken too soon from the people who loved them. We’ll think of all the heartache and all the dreams that were never fulfilled. We’ll think of the freedom we enjoy because of these soldiers and for their bravery, selflessness and courageousness, we give eternal thanks.
